The story begins with the marriage of Gautam, an Indian Foreign Service officer, and Ira, a fiery social worker. Jaggi, a prominent guest at the wedding, causes a commotion and is apprehended with his friends for gatecrashing the party. Three years later, Jaggi illegally crosses the border with the intent of reaching London, but is apprehended and taken back to the embassy where Gautam works. Inspired by Gautam's speech, Jaggi informs him that he must arrive in London by Monday to see his love. Three months ago, the film flashes back.
