Lakshman wrote and directed the 2021 Indian Tamil-language action drama film
Bhoomi (transl. Earth). Sujatha Vijayakumar, Jayam Ravi's mother-in-law, is
producing the film under the banner Home Movie Makers. Jayam Ravi and Nidhhi
Agerwal star in the film, with Ronit Roy[1] and Sathish playing supporting
roles. The film is set in an agricultural setting. D. Imman composed the
soundtrack and background score. Ravi is working on his 25th film. The film
debuted on Disney+ Hotstar on January 14, 2021, coinciding with Pongal. The
film received harsh criticism from both critics and audiences, who criticized
its performances, predictability, script, screenplay, and romantic scenes.
